Beetje laat, maar beter laat dan nooit. Dailucia is 31-12-2009 op Qountdown verkozen tot Hottest Hardstyle chick!!! En yes ik heb daar serieus een award voor in ontvangst mogen nemen. Ben er trots op te mogen zeggen dat bijna 55% van de stemmers mij the hottest around vond Het was dan ook een hele eer om te winnen van die andere prachtige meiden met toch wel aanzienlijke hardstyle invloeden! De dagen aftellend naar Qountdown toe, werd ik al wat nerveuzer, wie zal het worden!!! Maar het meest druk maakte ik me natuurlijk voor mijn First time Mainstage HMH, zouden maar zo’n 5500 man staan…dus eitje Bij de award show kwam ik op in een lange gala jurk, want tja echt stylevol is het niet om 6 maanden zwanger in een mini-jurkje aan te komen maar probeer er maar eens trappen mee te beklimmen Ik zag bigscreen dat ik verkozen was, maar wat de mc/presentator te zeggen had kon ik niet verstaan,(geluid HMH is zo goed, dat je achter de deks niks uit de zaal hoort en je toch echt de monitors aan moet hebben) opeens was daar een microfoon ojeej ik denk dat ik wat zeggen moet? Dat begon al goed met jongens en meisjes…(staan we voor een kleuterklas ofzo?)….bedankt voor de stemmen, zonder jullie stond ik hier niet…nou dat ging nog wel, maar dan….applaus voor jezelf en applaus voor mij?? (Rendez vous met de miniplayback show geloof ik?) En vervolgens schreeuwde ik zo hard, dat iedereen me zonder mic ook wel kon horen en m’n stem dus lekker oversloeg thank God (ja dat moeten jullie ook doen) dat ik dj ben geworden, en geen mc , presentatrice of zangeres
Toen moest ik draaien, ik had mijn cue niet vastgezet en begon mijn eerste nr. ‘Fine night’ nogal random ergens Goed begin, maar een Fine night werd het zeker Ik had iets meer dan een half uur om mijn kunsten te vertonen en die vlogen heeeel snel voorbij. En of het nu de hormonen waren of het geweldige gevoel om voor 5500 man mainstage HMH te mogen staan draaien…bij m’n derde? nummer ‘Brennan Heart- Feel U here’ sprongen de tranen me bijna in de ogen….Het was zo Amazing F*cking Fantastisch!!!! Om dat mee te mogen maken!!! Nu was het meteen mijn afscheid voor een paar maanden….maar jeeeej wat heb ik er zin in om weer te beginnen zeg!! Om het maar niet te hebben over het Qountdown moment dat nummer!!! ‘Life the moment’ had niet toepasselijker kunnen zijn. ‘Times are changing fast’ zo ben je ernstig ziek, zo sta je in HNTM, zo breek je eindelijk door als dj en zo draai je de vetste feesten waar je ooit van dromen kon, dan tussendoor word je mama, en zometeen draai je nog vettere feesten? I am !!! living the moment, echt met iedere vezel in mijn lichaam!!! En geloof mij, dat zijn er momenteel nogal wat!!! Op dit moment ben ik zo’n dikke 7 maanden zwanger, en hoewel je dat gelukkig alleen van opzij ziet, ben ik echt al een hele dikkie dik!!! Ik zou iedere dag wel zo’n hele dikke Milka reep chocola met hazelnoten opkunnen en dan wel die van 375!!!gram maar momenteel vind ik het erg genoeg om deze laatste weken zo’n kilo per week aan te komen, dus laat ik dat maar uit mijn hoofd!!! De beeb loopt aardig voor in groei, zo’n 2 weken, dus hopen dat ie een beetje eerder komt…maar mijn lot een beetje kennende zal het wel een grote vreetzak zijn die rustig nog eventjes op zich laat wachten… Dat heet Karma, ik was ook zo Nou geloof mij, nu eventjes echt niet meer ‘The hottest around’ eerder ‘the Fattest’ maarrrr kga zeker dit jaar heel erg mijn best doen om mijn carrière verder te upgraden, ik heb er namelijk al heel erg veel zin in!!!!
Alle fans, familie en bekenden….dank jullie wel voor al jullie lieve berichtjes, hier en daar zal ik al wel wat terug gestuurd hebben, maar soms word het wat veel, dus bij deze wou ik even laten weten dat ik jullie steun en lieve berichtjes enorm waardeer en kisses DD (Dikke Dailuus )

Nu ik toch echt niet meer kan verbergen dat ik er als een dikkie dik uitga zien, moet het toch maar een keer officieel gemaakt worden There is a mini- me in the making vorig jaar had ik voorspeld dat dit mijn jaar zou worden, maar had nooit kunnen bedenken dat de Meneer hierboven mijn twee grootste dromen zou waarmaken tegelijkertijd!!! Dit jaar heeft mijn carriere als dj natuurlijk een enorme sprong gemaakt en heb ik de mogelijkheid gekregen om op Defqon, Qbase, XQlusive en zometeen Qountdown! te draaien. De naam Dailucia is gevestigd en daar ben ik ontzettend dankbaar voor, één van mijn allergrootste dromen is uitgekomen, draaien bij de top!!! Dat het geluk mij niet zo heel vanzelfsprekend toelacht werd in 2007 wel even duidelijk, na te horen hebben gekregen dat ik een tumor in baarmoeder had en daarvoor geopereerd moest worden, kwamen daar ook nog eens chemokuren overheen, omdat de operatie niet goed gelukt was ! Wat heel mooi was of misschien eigenlijk net iets te vroeg…dat ik gevraagd werd voor HNTM!!! een fantastische kans, maar helaas door dat ik pas net een week van mijn chemokuren verlost was, bleek een carriere als ‘top’model niet voor mij weggelegd, dus na een paar afleveringen lag ik eruit!! Tijdens die periode in het huis werd mij duidelijk dat ik liever ’superstar dj’ worden wou dan ‘top’model, en aangezien ik dat niet onder stoelen of banken stak (ik ben natuurlijk ergens ook ‘gewoon’ Claudia) werd dat opgepikt, door de mensen van Hntm (dag Claudia!) en door de mensen van verschillende platenmaatschappijen!(Hallo Claudia!) Daarna ben ik mijn droomcarriere begonnen, maar altijd in onzekerheid gebleven of er nog later een keer kans inzat om mama te worden. Nu werd dat vermoeden iets eerder bevestigd dan gepland was! Dankzij het wisselen van anticonceptiepil!!!! Ondanks ik helemaal voor mijn carriere als dj wil gaan, durf ik toch te zeggen heel erg blij te zijn met deze verrassing!! Mijn platenmaatschappij steunt mij gelukkig volledig en ik ga natuurlijk gewoon verder met het keihard bereiken van mijn doel! Qountdown op 31 december zal voor mij mijn laatste dj gig zijn, maar niet het laatste wat ik als dj\ producer doe voor de bevalling. De periode dat ik niet achter de draaitafels sta, zal ik me concentreren op het produceren en het verder ontwikkelen van mijn eigen sound, verder zal ik met mijn vaste produceer team en enkele andere artiesten de studio in duiken en werken aan nieuwe producties met uiteindelijke doel een eigen album!!! Waarschijnlijk sta ik April/Mei alweer op het podium en kan ik als trotse mama de draad weer gauw oppakken!!! Want als iemand je de kans geeft om al je dromen te leven? wie ben ik dan, omdat niet met beide handen aan te pakken!!! en er keihard voor te gaan… Op naar 2010 want het wordt wederom MIJN JAAR, naja Ons dan

In the beginning of my set I was a bit nerveus, because there where a lot of people in front of me filming, and taking pictures, didn’t know where to look anymore …but after a little while, it was going crazyyy lose, the Bass, The people, The dj!!! and offcourse there where a lot of professional photographers to!! They always seem to make pictures at moments I look the most unfortuned!! Those pictures make me wonder, I used to be something close to a model, didn’t I?? So why am I always looking on party pics like I’m pooping? Not that I know how I look in the mirroir as I am, cause girls just don’t ever poop but I do check a lot of mirroirs though maybe it’s because I was done with making nice pictures and being ‘model like’, that my girlfriend and I made a sport of looking totally fuckfaced It might just’ve happened that my face isn’t going to look normal anymore on photo’s….but what the…it’s about the music isn’t it
And in the music I’m doing quite nice now Have got a lot of bookings..the day before Q I performed at The Jantjes in Spakenburg. It was really nice to be there, it’s a tiny location but very nice people, like to go back there sometime.The crowd was friendly and all on the dancefloor, moving there ass off!!! And as Dessert, the Icing on the cake, I had to do XQ…..couldn’t get enough of it! Still can’t, want to go back

Haaaai, after I had to shut up for while I’m almost to late to say!!! Wanted to tell you all I’m very proud to say….Dailucia is on xQlusive Holland!!! It was on my lips for like three months or so!!! could’nt tell anyone, and then I got sooo busy!!! I almost forgot It started with a very strange day, had to go to Q, stepped in a chrysler cabrio with the Beat providers, driven to Volendam, and got a weird picture for the site…After that we had to make a little video message, but just had seen the one for my youtube site !!! You know the one with that pretentious bitch, who could’nt keep her head stil, and her verrrry fake wink (that’s me ) I suck at making video’s, and worst of all, we had to pretend we where farmers, so had to speak with an accent in farmers clothes!!! aaah… couldn’t stop laughing at the dj’s who turned out to be very good actors! Then it was my turn..Hi I’m dj dailucia I’m from the east, and I still go to my bookings by horse But all there came out, was……I’m not going to make an other video message, OMG have you seen my last one??? Very happy they didn’t used the video’s!!! Most stupid thing of all was, of all dj’s I’m the most farmer like I live in the east, grew up on a farm, still live on a ‘farmlike’ mini mansion,(verrrrry mini)with a lot of animals. (not only my awfull beasty neighbour) but reacted like a stucked up b*tch…Anyhow the picture went well and hope that Xqlusive Holland will be just as fun, as the promo day…only this time I don’t want any fried potato’s thrown on me, by my collegues(thank you)!!! I still hate birds!! and I still hate the raw fish they made us eat …..xQlusive Holland?? See you tommorow

Oei Oei OEI!!! Just like I do for every booking, I started a week before with the preparations of the set. Offcourse I practice every week!!! but a week before I make the final selection of the numbers I’m going to mix. The problems started on monday, no electricity, had to wait for my landlord to come back and put me on power again!!! He was late!!! so I couldn’t practice…Tuesday I went to the FHM 100 sexiëst, so no practice..Wednesday, practicing my set, chosed nmbrs of oct/nov till now, thought I had a nice set, went well Thursday, wasn’t sure of the set, played it loud, didn’t like it, wanted to make another set, was playing, aaah angry neighbour at the door!!! I have one!!! neighbour!! and offcourse he had to be on nightshift!!! so no practicing during daytimes!! and that evening I had to go to school!!! so no practicing Friday starting to get really nerveus now!!! no Final set yet, aaaaah playing the music very silent, knowing my neighbour was sleeping, and just a couple off houres left before the cd players where going to be picked up, to spin at a truck in Rotterdam (I promissed, stupid me!!!) Do you know how Hardstyle sounds playing at volume 2? It sounds like shit!!! Fuck the neighbour!!! Dailucia is playing it loud!!! ah nice set, me happy, Neighbour at the door…No nightshift tonight!! your F*cking Music is bothering my F*cking tv!! So you (peep) quit playing that (peep)*%$###@@music or I’ll cut youre power of again!!! Are you Insane!!!G*d####%&*peeeep!!! . Crap I’ve got my set, didn’t practice enough Like I don’t have a very important thing to do Saturdaynight…nope it’s only Q-base?? Soooooooow You could call me…a bit nervous…I was swepped of my feet when I saw the bunker I had to perform in!!! It was huge!!! It was huge,and did I allready said it was Huge? aah and it was loud!!!! verrrry loud!!!! like you could really hear?? the music ??? so a bit difference comparing the volume 2 I had to practice with Although I didn’t had the chance to practice my set a lot, I was less nervous than I was with Defqon and The Qontinent!!! I was going to do this, standing at the stage, I saw my friend, my girlfriend, half of the persons of the town I live in..and… my parents!!!????? god How did they get in? Anyhow, Ran-D was finished and I wanted to start, couldn’t here anything out of my headphones searching what it could be… finding out I still had the plug inn in my hands stupid!!! turned up a cd, had my intro(whole bunker was full and beyond, talking about shiverzzz)…putting up another cd so I could mix…Ran-D is turning around, scoping my cd out off my hands…and…it just fell, it fell 3 meters down under the stage!!! PANIC I thought it was a sign, a sign of the end of my carriére!!! The stage manager grabbed it for me, and just on time I had it, I mixxed, didn’t stop mixxing, and the crowed was going crazy, and it went well, people where waving and shouting, dancing and pounding, and the time flew away, before I knew it, I had to stop allready, It went soooo welll!!! couldn’t imagined it would go so Fab!! I don’t know…but whatever it was…It was Magic!!! Did it really happen?

After a day full of wondering what to wear, (dresscode casual smart?) we finally went to the FHM sexiest women selection of the year!! Famous people had to come to a hotel nearby, I was suprised to got a mail specially for BN-ers, (Famous Dutch people) I tought they where joking, or excedentally send me the wrong mail, but there we where in front of many Famous Dutch peolpe (Gordon, Girls from GTST, Onm, Gooische meiden) having something to drink en snack. First person that approached us, was Gordon with a tv cam crew from SBS for an interview!! Then we where invited to take a seat in a very nice car, to be driven at the Panama. When we stepped out the car our feet touched the redcarpet!!! photographers everywhere!!! blinded by lights, striking poses giving short interviews. The rest of the evening was full of interviews and pictures! I got a taste of how it felt to be famous, and it was fab I’m famous haha

OmG!! Q-Base is coming soon!!! In stead of I don’t know where I am, or how I got here?… I don’t know what to wear!!!! Got a closet full of clothes, many not even worn!!! but never the right outfit for the event, or not the right shoes!!! or not the right accesoiry’s. I think I’m going crazy!!! Sure I can shop till I drop, but then I get more clothes I’ll never wear!! Not that I buy awfull clothes (I think), but I just create horrible outfits!! I need a stylist!!! And I need one fast Watching other female dj’s they never wear the same thing twice, always look sophisticated, got their hair done nice, perfect make up, nice shoes that go with the event now I know where songs like ‘braincracking’ come from!!! I go insane, it’s in my brain!!! RATATDADAAA

Hi people, want to share my last gig with you all. I went to Belgium to play at the qontinent, I was more nervous, for my car to make it that long distance, then I was for the performance, but it made it so thank you my lovely car Hope to make more money soon, cause every dj is driving a nice Audi!!!! anyhow, when I got there I must admitt I began to start nervous, I wasn’t sure about the sound, because everything played in red, so the sound was raging, It sounded not that well, so I asked if I could pull the gain back and the volume more open, thats really better for the sound, but eventually I did’nt cause I could’nt hear if it was improving and I already was nervous enough (so mr. critic I could find the play button, it was something more difficult) Then I started my set, and the tent I played in was completely crowded and going lose, so I look back to a nice gig at The Qontinent, after my set I was asked for many foto’s and had very nice responses, So thank you all for that You know the first thing you learn as a artist is how to NOT google yourself, to look at the critics people wright about you, because it might make you insecure, but I would’nt be Dailucia if I did’nt, so I looked, because if there is something I do wrong, I really wan’t it to know, to addapt it and make it better!!! I really have to laugh about boys who wright: she could’nt find the play button!!! uhuh or she’s stupid, she is only there because of her looks!! You know what would be really stupid? Not to stand there, to say , euh play at Defqon? The Qontinent? Qbase? euh rather not…So does it make me insecure? Nope, cause I got the oppertunity to do all these amazing things, and though I’m still learning(yeah, I did 3 nrs. of the Pitcher in my set, because I think he makes really nice productions, so what? I just did’nt know Dozer was quite simulair to the Pitcher. And he had to spin after me really, really not done!!) I’m confident to make it,so keep on wrighting, it keeps me going!!! It took a while to get me here, but I’m doing it, I’m doing it wow :boogie: Have to say: I was a bit sceptic about how my bookings where going to turn out after my releases, because it was a new adventure for me! But my releases went well and so are my bookings!! Proudly to say I’m on the Qontinent in Belgium, The Technoparade in Paris (simulair to the loveparade of Berlin) and Q-Base in Germany!!! ..and some other very nice options, where I can’t talk about yet. Talking about dreams come true, this is above my imagination!!! Couldn’t do it without the support of my fans, so thank you for believing in me, and all your nice scrabbs and mails. Hugs and kisses D.
